PONNY, English Preschool philosophy is to provide the highest quality English daycare during your child's pre-school years in a safe, loving, homely and stimulating environment, encouraging your child to develop physically, socially and emotionally.
We provide both outdoor and indoor activities for children. The activities outside the pre-school are run by qualified instructors. The teachers stay with the children throughout the activities as a teaching support.
As soon as it is warm and sunny the preschool planning takes the six areas of EYFS outside the preschool. Circle time and child-initiated play take place in near by parks. During cold, snowy days bobsleigh riddes and snowman building is organised.
Most of the preschool activities change throughout the year according to the children´s interest, the weather conditions and offers from outer organizations.
Ponny, English Preschool provides children with organic food and drinks. The children have a morning snack, hot meal (soup and a main course) and an afternoon snack. Drinks are available at all times.
The preschool party is a great event organised twice a year. Parents, family members and a wider audience are invited to see the children perform. We also hold a public performance in Summer and Winter.
Although we do not organise formal parents meetings, we like to keep our parents informed about their child´s health and achievements. Individual meetings can be arranged with the teachers, the director or SEN Department.
The parents are more than welcome to visit the preschool and watch the children during the activities.
Depending on the number and age of children in the preschool a residential trip is organised twice a year.
Individual English/ French lessons for children and adults are led by experienced tutors.
